On Sunday, March 25th at 7:30 am on Fresh 100.3 FM, Florine Mark will feature Mandi Murray, one of the exceptional women being honored at this year's Role Model Dinner, on her show, "Remarkable Women."

On Sunday, March 4th at 11 am, Street Beat on the CW 50 featured Amy Good and Amyre Makupson, emcee of our 2012 Role Model Dinner, as they discussed our Role Model Dinner, AFG, and mentorship for young women. Click here to view the segment.

On Friday, March 2nd, the Mildred Gaddis show on AM 1200 featured AFG CEO Amy Good and the young women in our Shelter, who shared their experiences with homelessness. This is the 3rd year that Ms. Gaddis has hosted an undergarment drive partially in support of AFG.

Each month at Alternatives For Girls, we open our doors and invite our community in to get to know us. In just one hour, visitors learn more about what we do and our history, hear from our CEO, and hear from one of the young women of AFG. The next open houses will be held: Tuesday, May 8th at 5:30 pm and Thursday, May 24th at 9:00 am.
